For the second straight game against a playoff opponent the Lady Jegos played stellar defense. The Artichokes of Scottsdale Community College boast the second leading scorer in the conference Shaylin Heredia at 18 points a game and the Jegos held her well below that average. This was a hard fought game all the way to the end, with no team leading by more than 8 points at any point in the ball game. In the end the Lady Jegos grabbed the victory 67-64. The Jegos got important contributions from several different players. They were lead by the hot shooting of Rolanda Mitchell, who also hit two clutch free throws at the end of the game. Brittany Loguidice was a constant threat both offensively and defensively as she got the assignment of defending Heredia for the game. The timely shooting of Idalis Galindo and Rebecca Herrera put the Jegos on top for good with :30 seconds left in the game.
