The Apaches of Cochise College were not very welcoming to the Lady Jegos as they could not miss against a swarming Jegos defense. Multi-time player of the week and future NAU Lumberjack Destiny Amezquita scored 19 points from the outside and Te Oramae Solomon scored 24 points on the inside. The Lady Jegos continued to push and put pressure on the Lady Apaches causing 21 turnovers. However, the Jegos just could not find the range and convert those turnovers into points as Cochise won 72-41. The Jegos were lead by sharp shooting freshman Rolanda Mitchell with 9 points and got a solid effort, as always, from Melia Tadytin with 6 points & 5 rebounds. Kamari Minor worked hard off the bench and contributed with 6 points and 7 rebounds.
